Undoubtedly, the development of any industry will encounter the bottle neck of technical problems, especially high-tech industries such as LED display. Only when producers face up to the problem can they promote the development of the entire industry. The following Meiyad from technically aspect to analyzes the main problems of LED screens.
1. Insufficient brightness. The main advantage of LED display is the super adaptability to the complex outdoor environment. The characteristics of the outdoor environment require that the LED display should be sufficient brightness to transmit information in sunny, cloudy, rainy and snowy weather, long distance and multiple viewing angles. Brightness is used to transmit information. So brightness is the important, due to insufficient LED brightness, LEDs can only act as supporting roles in the lighting industry, mainly for decoration. This is a huge challenge for the comprehensive application of tens of thousands of LEDs.
2. LED color difference problem. There is basically no chromatic aberration problem in the application of a single LED, but if a large number of LEDs are used in combination, the chromatic aberration problem will be highlighted. Although there are techniques to improve this problem, due to the limitations of domestic technology and production level, there are still differences in the same batch of LEDs in the same color zone, and this difference is difficult to escape the eye-catching, so it is difficult to ensure the color reducive and realistic of the LED display.
3. LED display chip. True color high-resolution LED electronic display as a new display medium, with its clear image and high-performance playback capabilities, has been increasingly valued by people. For the LED display unit board, the three-primary LED dies are the core components, so high quality dies with small differences of wavelength and good intensity of luminous should be used, and this technology is mainly in the hands of world-renowned companies.
4. Heat dissipation. Because the outdoor environment temperature changes greatly, coupled with the LED display itself, it must generate a certain amount of heat. If the ambient temperature is too high and the heat is not good, it will probably cause the integrated circuit to work abnormally or even be burned, thus making the display system impossible to work normally.
