At the grand “See the Palace Museum in Hengqin” Digital Exhibition held at the Hengqin Culture & Arts Center, Meiyad brought the Forbidden City to life with two cutting-edge LED display solutions, serving as the visual centerpieces of the immersive experience.
The first highlight is a 14-meter-wide by 3.5-meter-high giant transparent LED screen, featuring a unique pixel pitch of P3.91–P7.82. This screen astonishes with its high transparency, allowing light to flow naturally through while rendering the treasured artifacts of the Palace Museum in a seemingly "suspended" form. The screen seamlessly blends the profound weight of Chinese history with futuristic digital aesthetics, creating a stunning visual paradox.
The second is a massive 11.52-meter by 3.52-meter P1.538 ultra-fine pitch LED display, which vividly recreates iconic cultural treasures like the “A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains” scroll and the golden-tiled grandeur of the Hall of Supreme Harmony. The extraordinary detail offers visitors an immersive journey into a digital Forbidden City, inspiring awe at every glance.
Through advanced LED display technology, Meiyad builds a powerful visual bridge between tradition and innovation. This project not only revives 600 years of Forbidden City heritage in digital form but also vividly demonstrates the boundless potential of technology empowering culture.
