How to Maintenance LED Display?

LED displays are high-tech electronics and the cost of production is quite expensive. Due to various factors such as pollution, looseness, vibration, heat generation and environmental temperature changes during the use of the LED display, the normal use of the LED display screen may be affected, and even serious accidents may occur. Therefore, the maintenance of the LED display becomes an important part of the work. Meiyad will explain to you which maintenance specification steps the LED display have.

1. Regular security checks

For the general LED display security inspection, the "monthly inspection system" is adopted, and the large LED display screen is subjected to the "week inspection system".

1) On-site inspection of regular technicians once a month to inspect and maintain the system.

2) For outdoor LED display, damage caused by natural factors such as wind, rain, lightning, electricity, etc., is not covered by the warranty. The owner needs to be insured by the insurance company and paid by the insurance company.

3) During the maintenance service, the general failure within 8 hours to solve the maintenance problem, the major accident does not exceed 24 hours. Maintenance should replace the module and other accessories, no more than 24 hours. After the repair is completed, the service ensures that the large screen does not appear above the module level (such as module color cast, module black, one column is not bright, etc.) and plays normally.

2. Cleaning up the LED display

For LED displays with lower protection levels, especially for outdoor LED screens, dust in the air can easily enter the device from the ventilation holes, which will accelerate the wear and even damage of the fan and other equipment. Dust may also fall on the surface of the internal control device of the LED display, reducing thermal and insulating properties. In the case of wet weather, dust will absorb moisture in the air and cause short circuit. In the long term, the PCB and electronic components will be mildewed, resulting in the technical performance of equipment is degraded and malfunctions. Therefore, the cleaning of the LED display seems simple, but it is actually an important step in the maintenance work.

3. Regularly tighten the LED display connector

LED display screen is a high-power consumption device. When it is running for a period of time, it will start and stop for many times. The terminal of the power supply part will be loose due to hot and cold, the contact is not good, and the virtual connection will be formed. It goes hot in severe cases, even to make the near components be on fire. The signal terminals are also loose due to changes in ambient temperature, and the moisture is corroded to cause poor contact, which leads to equipment failure. Therefore, the connectors of the LED display must be periodically tightened. When the fasteners are adjusted, the force should be evenly and properly ensured to be strong and effective.

4. Regularly clean the LED display surface

LED display cleaning is a high-altitude operation and requires a professional cleaning team. The cleaning operation adopts the high-altitude sling method (commonly known as spiderman) or the hanging sill, and the professional cleaning equipment is configured. The cleaning personnel select different detergent according to the different dirt on the screen to clean targeted, so as to ensure that the LED tube and mask is not damaged, the cleaning of the display screen is completed. There are two points to note when cleaning: 1. Before cleaning, you need to pull out the power cord. 2. The choice of cleaning fluid, cleaning fluid generally includes electrolyte, high-purity distilled water, anti-static liquid, etc., to choose good quality of cleaning fluid and effectively clean the  dust and other stains on LED screen.

The specific cleaning and maintenance is divided into three steps:

The first step: vacuuming. First remove dirt and dust from the surface of the LED display mask.

The second step: wet washing. Be careful not to spray the lotion directly onto the LED screen. But to spray a small amount of lotion onto the cleaning cloth and gently wipe it in the same direction. You can also scrub the lamp mask with a soft brush on the vacuum cleaner to clean the dirt.

The third step: drying. Use a vacuum cleaner to absorb the water marks left behind after the wet wash to ensure that the LED display mask is clean and free of dust.
